We moved into our humble cottage because it is getting very challenging to do the 40 minute drive back and forth from Chasmonaim to Ramat Bet Shemesh (even longer in traffic). Thought we will miss seeing Latrun every day, we really have quite a bit of stuff to do around the house. We will do not have appliances or beds. Yehuda is sleeping on the couch. Dina and I are sleeping on the mattresses in her room, and Chaim and Moshe are sleeping in what will be the boys room. They have one mattress and a sleeping bag. One good thing is the shower – lots of hot water warmed by the sun and excellent pressure. Our neighbors sent over cakes to welcome us, and we eat them all day. We got pizza and falafel for lunch and dinner.
